1. The first step in the hull manufacturing process is the gelcoat. We use Cook's Composite gelcoat, a UV-stabilized premium isothalic gelcoat, for its durablility and shine.

2. Next we hand lay a thin skin of chop strand fiberglass to avoid unwanted blemishes in the gelcoat and excessive weight.

3. Then we lay full length multi-directional knitted fiberglass to avoid excessive weight and add strength by eliminating seams. Foam core is used in the sides for added rigidity and strength.

4. 3/4-inch Klegicell is installed on the hull bottom and top of the tunnel. 10 inches of 17 lb. Ultratex is installed on severe stress areas like the tunnel radius.

5. Additional layers of multi-directional fiberglass are then applied over foam core to complete the composite sandwich construction.

6. A specially formulated vinylester based bonding agent is then applied to the tunnel, bulkheads and hull sides.

7. The liner is then lowered, weighted down and clamped in place creating a truss system. All of this is done in the mold to eliminate unwanted flexing.
